Allied London own the Spinningfields mixed-use development that is served by the route.〔 ==History== Metroshuttle route 1 began operating in September 2002 and replaced the previous Centreline city centre operation. First Manchester was chosen by Transport for Greater Manchester to operate the service with a fleet of Optare Solos. On 7 November 2010, First Manchester commenced a further contract with hybrid Optare Versas introduced.〔(Freedom of the city with Manchester Metroshuttle ) 2 November 2010〕 In July 2014, three electric Optare Versas were introduced.〔(Free city centre Metroshuttle goes electric ) Optare 31 July 2014〕
